(G)I-DLE made a sizzling-hot comeback with their new mini-album, "I SWAY", led by the energetic and infectious title track "Klaxon". "Klaxon" is the quintessential summer hit, blending funky beats, groovy bass lines, and rhythmic guitar sounds with the members' unique and powerful vocals and signature rapping. "Klaxon" is "a song that feels like someone in love is shouting out their feelings with a horn," according to Soyeon who co-written and composed the song. 

The music video, filmed in Thailand, perfectly captures the essence of a 90s Californian summer. Vibrant colors and a lively city backdrop set the stage as the members dance atop cars in trendy outfits and distinct hairstyles. Lyrically, "Klaxon" tells a romantic yet dramatic story, filled with intense attraction and cinematic moments. To show their commitment to this retro 90s concept, this mini album will be released in five different cassette tape versions, besides the usual CD and QR code versions! With "Klaxon" (G)I-DLE continue to push boundaries and showcase their artistry solidifying their position as one of K-pop's leading acts.

(G)I-DLE, the currently five-member girl group under Cube Entertainment, made a comeback today on July 8, 2024 with their seventh mini album "I Sway" and the song "Klaxon" as the album's title track. The album will contain four tracks and the physical release will come out in thirteen versions: three photobook/CD versions (Wind, Wave and Beat version), five Special versions (Cassette tape) and five POCA Album versions (QR card). This album is the follow-up to the group's second full-length album "2" that was released on January 29, 2024 with "Super Lady" as the album's title track.

TAEYEON (태연) - Heaven 

Review 

Taeyeon, the enchanting vocalist of the legendary group Girls' Generation, is set to captivate listeners once again with her new single "Heaven". "Heaven" is a dark, creepy track that features surprisingly a blend of upbeat energy and Taeyeon's signature vocal prowess. Musically "Heaven" can be described as a lively dance-pop track infused with synthesizer and guitar elements, with a refreshing and infectious sound that showcases Taeyeon's versatility as an artist.

The music video on the other hand is very dark, disturbing and exceptionally bloody with an extra layer of intrigue and suspense, depicting Taeyeon running through a dark forest, heavily armed with an axe hunting a bear (or a guy in a bear-suit?). The whole music video is very dark with blood flowing freely and body parts laying around on a dinner table and is a stark contrast with the upbeat feeling of the song. Very weird for this kind of music! Overall, "Heaven" is a solid track that showcases Taeyeon's ability to consistently deliver memorable music experiences and the reason why she is still one of the most prominent female soloists in K-pop after almost ten years on the scene.

She is also a member of its sub-units Girls' Generation-TTS and Girls' Generation-Oh!GG, and a member of the project groups S.M. THE BALLAD and GOT the beat. TAEYEON made a comeback today on July 8, 2023 with her first single album "Heaven" and the same-titled song as the album's title track. The album will contain only this one track and the only physical release will be a QR card version called "Mini Recipe Book Smart Album version". This single is the follow-up to Taeyeon's fifth mini album "To. X" that was released on November 27, 2023.
