Song Review: CRAXY Make An Impressive Comeback With "STUPIDZ"

CRAXY (크랙시) - STUPIDZ

Review

After the expulsion of member ChaeY for undisclosed reasons, their fans feared for the future of the group. Almost a year later CRAXY is back. Bigger, stronger and... stupider(?) than ever. Because "STUPIDZ" is just that. Crazy, stupid fun!

"STUPIDZ" is an explosive, old-school, boom-bap hip-hop track, with ridiculous lyrics and a stupid-fan but addictive refrain. The lyrics boldly showcase CRAXY's confident but silly side, while the catchy hook and tight rapping strengthen the group's appeal. The absurdity and overall silliness is what makes the song work. The music video is equally bombastic in its stupidity, never taking itself seriously. CRAXY are not bad-ass girls, nor they pretend to be. They are here to have fun and share their youthful energy with you, delivering hit after hit since their debut. All things considered, "STUPIDZ" is an amazing comeback, true to their concept and a very fun song deserving to be included in any summer playlist.
