IVE Make A Mesmerizing Comeback With "Heya"

IVE (아이브) -  HEYA (해야) 

IVE, the six-member girl group under Starship Entertainment that debuted on December 1, 2021 with the single album “Eleven”, made a comeback today on April 29, 2024 with their second EP album "IVE Switch" and the songs "Heya" and "Accendio" as the album's double title tracks. The album will contain six tracks and the physical release on a CD will come out in ten versions, four photobook versions (On, Off, Spin-Off and Loved IVE) and six member-specific digipack versions. There will also be a PLVE version, which to be fair is just a photocard with a code on the back. The album is the follow-up to the group's first English digital single "All Night" that was released on January 19, 2024 and their first Korean EP album "I've Mine" that was released on October 13, 2023.

The concept for IVE's new album, "IVE SWITCH," is mainly inspired by Korean folktales, with the members' transformation into tigers and entering into a colorful fantasy world signifying the new phase in their career, where the group explores alternative personas and narratives, broadening their already distinct style. The album aims to capture global attention with IVE's radical transformation and unique charm. "Heya" captures the listener from its first minute with its layered instrumentals and the chanting in the background. Then it follows with several smooth hooks and the song explodes with an addictive chorus, in the tradition of IVE. In other words, this is a song destined to be another IVE global mega hit!
