Brave Girls (브레이브걸스) is a four-member South Korean girl group under Brave Entertainment. They debuted on April 8, 2011 with the single "The Difference" and a different line-up. The current line-up consists of members: Minyoung (민영), Yujeong (유정), Eunji (은지) and Yuna (유나). Brave Girls made their comeback with their fifth mini album "Summer Queen" on June 17, 2021 and the song "치맛바람 (Chi Mat Ba Ram)" serving as the album's title track. The mini album, which will contain five tracks, will be released physically on a CD on two versions titled Summer and Queen.

Review

"Chi Mat Ba Ram" features tropical house elements fused with saxophone sounds, that can only be described as bright, fun, and summery. It has an infectious sense of joy and a cyclical chorus structure but maintains its solidness without being repetitive. While some listeners may argue that it doesn't have the same catchiness as their previous mega-hit, "Rollin'," the song does have an upbeat and carefree vibe, perfect for the summer season. The vocal talents of the girls are once again the highlight of the song. Maybe it's not their best track, but its definitely a soon-to-be classic summer anthem!
